From dial to push-button

Desk phone, danMark, GN Telematic, 1980s

The danMark desk phone was introduced in 1983 by GN Telematic and KTAS. With the ‘danMark svar’ model, it was also possible to leave a message in the event of a missed call.

Although the push-button telephone was invented as early as 1941 in the USA, they did not appear on the general market until the early 1960s. In Denmark, the first push-button phones appeared on the market in the 1970s. With the new phones came the significant telephone sounds we still associate with dialing a number.

Fra drejeskive til trykknap

Bordtelefon, danMark, GN Telematic, 1980’erne
